Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum (page 1)

Located in South Philadelphia, not far from the airport, the Simeone collection has over $80 million worth of sporty, sports and racing cars on display in a 100,000 square foot facility.

1928 was the first year of the Speedster series.
While it participated in the 1930 French automobile race, the car did not finish.
This salon model is one of 14 built and is the rarest of the Speedster series.
This example, one of two in existence, placed second in the 1937 Mille Miglia.
While no beauty, this car won Le Mans in 1937 and set land speed records.
